I usually play Martins, a 30-year-old D-35 or a relatively new 12-string; but on this session, I used an Ibanez, which my brother Dan kindly lent me for a sailing trip aboard the Schooner Alamar from Halifax, Nova Scotia, to Castine, Maine. The trip led to an invitation to this beautiful island from shipmate and Web Master George Cooper and his wonderful wife, Judy Blume--and these recordings and this entire Web site are part of what life here has wrought.
